report!!!
Me, Stelly, Butler, Mick B, JPS, Dodgy Dave, Stirfs all
turned up freezing our ******** off and went up the A6 as the safest option,
according to my thermometer it was just 1 celcius above freezing most of the
time, it got really cold when the next thing we new GB had taken us up to
Crooklands and we entered the misty wastelands of Cumbria ........ we only
just made it to Beatham Garden Centre cafe alive and had anything that was
hot on the menu, then back out into the cold with a direct route back down
the A6 to the Withys, about 75mile in all, a good day out again and comedy
moment of the day was when Mick nearly set fire to his arm warmers on the
stove in the cafe (not that he notices as he appeared to have a problem in
the gents and was muttering something about last nights curry)!!
