We went out as usual. Gethin, Dodgy, Ric, Greg the
mountain biker and myself. Not sure how we got there but it was ace and
we had lunch in Hebden Bridge where we had just met up with Scott on his
bike and Julie and Will met us in the cafe.
After the stop, Ric went back a flatter route and set off with Scott and
the rest of us set off up this cobbled hill but only Greg made it and
then had to come back down. Dodgy got stuck half way up, Gethin gave up
about 10 yds up and I couldn't stop laughing when I realised what it was
like.
Anyway we blasted back up and down hills and I started taking it a bit
easier, whilst the others blasted on. We ended up over the otherside of
Pendle and started to climb again but I left them here as we were so
near to Toms. Just the climb from Newchurch and Barley and I was here.
The idea was to have a brew and carry on but I'm fed and bathed now so
looks like I may not be back at Preston until Wednesday or Thursday.
Hope the rest had a nice ride back. I really enjoyed today, thanks lads.
hopefully someone will write a proper piece in the readers rides so
everybody knows where we went.
