On the ride today we myself Ric, GB, Dodgy, Stelly, JPS and
a new chap called Bob who joined for the first part (Bob if you read this
it was nice to meet you and you would be more than welcome in the
Wheelers).
Route was up the A6 to Galgate and then over to Hornby and up to Kirby
Lonsdale, through the town and over the tops to eventually drop into
Crooklands just south of Kendal, then over to Milnthorpe and onto Beetham
for lunch. After lunch it was onto Lancaster and then the back roads to
Cockerham and then over the sands to Stakepool, down Lancaster road were
me and Stelly (suffering like dogs by this point!!) split with the others
who turned right as we went direct to Cartford bridge and Stelly off left
home to Preston and I ran to the cost of 10p and went over the bridge and
direct home to Wesham via Gt Ecc and Inskip etc.
Another great day out and a top route from Mr Butler, the section from
Kirby Lons from great over the tops and Dodge even through in some
mountain biking to nearly knock JPS off, which added to the entertainment.
